Intense 2D fighting, even now
Even compared to more modern fighters like Street Fighter 4, MvC3, and its successor BlazBlue, this game still stands the test of time. The characters are zany and creative, and there are enough of them to have a fulfilling roster without pushing the limits. The fighting is still tight, even 8 years down the road, and is perfect for any fighting fan looking for an awesome, reasonably priced game. It's especially fun if you're a fan of BlazBlue, and it also makes the game easier to pick up and play. It has a relatively high learning curve, and is not for beginners. Still, if the gap of 8 years isn't too daunting, definitely pick up this game or at least download it online.

One crazy brawl
Guilty gear x2 has one of the craziest cast of characters i have ever seen in any fighting game, from witch who fights with her hair, a young pirate with an anchore, a spycho girl with a guitar, and a bounty hunter with yo yo''s, and others that have to be seen sto understand. The animation is smooth and great for a 2d fighter, this is a shining example of what most should look like. all the characters are nice and colorfull with unique fightign styles and there own instant kill moves, (with the exceptoin of dizzy) the game has Arcade mode, M.O.M mode(medal of millionare), vs mode, challange mode and story mode. and survival mode. each character had there own story mode with multiple endings, you'll unlock art after beating most types of modes and will learn about each character. thise game has huge amounts of content, that will keep going back for more, between, 2 additional unlockable characters, and a black, gold version of your characters who are even stronger, and EX version of the characters that come with differnt set of moves of the origonal, that you may even prefer. the music in the game is a very nice metal type of music that plays along with the game and that fits in well. and if you like 2d fighters and crazy insane fights with stylish characters this is a game for you. there are very few faults with the game, some characters are a little bit harder to use for some people, but with the training mose you can learn how to use any one at a moderate level, and it is hard to figure out sometimes how to get differnt endings in the story mode, you will go through alot of trail and error and might get fraustrated. The contraols can be a little sensitive, but once you get used to it, will become more fluid, its easier to play with the dpad than with the analoge stick. overall if you like fighting, pick this game up, it will keep you playing for hours and hours to come.
