Lord of the Rings: Return of the King
One of the best games i have ever played!
Me and my brothers have had this game ever since i was very little. It is extremly fun when u play co-op. the grafics back then for this game was considerd good now it looks like trash. but it still gets the job done. me and my friend stayed up all night playing this we never got bord! thats how good it is!!!!!!!!!!! i recomend this to everyone. Some of the old xbox games are better than xbox 360 games! original xbox all the way! xd
I had this game when it first game out and I never really got to finish it. Well I lost it and I found a copy on eBay, so I bought it and now I'm playing it on my Xbox 360. I forgot how amazing this game was. I'm addicted to it again. 10/10, A+, you name it.
This is a good game. The maps are decent, the fighting is good, but it gets boring after a while. In the end,its good.
Must have for lord of the rings fans
You get to choose the character you want to be before the levels. This game is fun in single player, but its amazing in multiplayer. Even if you defeat the game there is still stuff to do, and you wont get tired of playing this game. The controls are easy and lots of characters you can choose to be. Highly recomended.
Just to tell you i'm a hardcore lotr fan, so i demand something thats follows tolkien story line and doesn't go completely off. the game starts off, pretty much from the end of the two towers (the game). you play as gandalf (who owns) and your supposed to help your fellowship buddies take out the remaining uruks at helms deep. this mission is pretty much a tutorial. once you complete that, like what the guy down there just said, you unlock three paths. you can choose whatever path to play but in order to unlock the last level, you have to finish all three paths. the missions vary from defending minas tirith to venturing the paths of the dead and confronting the king of the dead, to saving frodo from shelob and defeating her. at the beginning of a mission, you get to chose your character. at the end of the mission your character gains xp and lvls up. you can use xp to purchase combos and feats (my favorite one is when legolas reaches a lvl10 you can get an upgrade that can make him fire two arrows at once). when you finish the game, you unlock 3 characters (faraimir, pippen, and merry), the palintir of sauron/sauruman and you can play any level with any character. so overall, this is one of the best lotr games ever!!!! if you don't get it i'm going to your house and i'm gonna drag you to gamestop!!!!!
Great game Great price
I used to have this game for my gamecube but sold it after beating it so I saw for a really cheap price on the xbox and I bought it at gamestop. The graphics are really nice for xbox. There are 3 paths that you play to get to the last level as frodo at mount doom. First you play the battle at helms deep then you unlock the 3 paths The path of the Hobbits, The path of Gandalf, and the path of the king (aragorn, gimli, and legolas). So you play those levels than you unlock the next level in that path until the last level. Some of the levels take me a few trys to beat but there are checkpoints so if you lose you don't have to start all over. Once you beat the last level you unlock a special bonus level. When you kill things your meter fills up more than once you have killed enough things you go into perfect mode where you get a lot more points for each kill. So the more kills you get in a row the more points you start getting. Then once you beat a level it adds up your points and you get leveled up plus you get to spend it on new attacks. Once you beat the game it gives you all the cheats so you can play any level you want using them. The cheats are things like perfect mode the whole game and unlimited health but I don't want to give them all away. Level 10 is the final level for more upgrades but you can keep getting them leveled up for fun. When you beat the game you also unlock 3 bonus characters. I would recommend this game to fans of lotr, fantasy games or action. People who like RPGs might also like this game. I think pretty much anyone would enjoy playing this game though.
