Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath
a different kind of game
this is not a traditional game, but it's really fun. you have 3rd person action combined with 1st person action, and you can change between the two with just a press of a button. and the first person segments have "live ammo" (various creatures) that each have a different ability. the 3rd person segments don''t have any shooting, but are just as good as the 1st person segments. you should try this.
This game is a perfect game. Its original, and it has a ton of gameplay. This game was great for the xbox, but it is coming out like early next year for the psp vita, so i would highly recommend waiting for it. This game was amazing. Hundreds of hours of fun. Not an easy game, but it wasn`t hard. A bit of a challenge and great dialouge. Overall, i would recommend waiting for it to come out for the psp vita early next year for improved graphics and even better gameplay.
One of the best games i've ever played. It Is AWESOME!
excellent game, worth getting an origional xbox
the graphics are not that great, but once you get past that the game becomes great. Each boss, or part of the game is different and unique
Fast, smooth, odd action!
Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath is as simple as the description sounds. You go around capturing villains for moolah (the official currency in this Oddworld), bringing them in dead or alive (alive worth more). Your ammo consists of some comic critters that shoot bee stingers, little fuzzy beasts that chomp on the enemies called Fuzzles, and other such things. The controls are simple, but they do take a while to get used to them. The beginning of the game was a little tricky, just because I wasn't used to the controls. After the first capture, however, the game plays smoothly. My first time through, I beat it bringing in all of the criminals alive with not too much trouble. The story, however, is pretty much nonexistent. But what it lacks in story it makes up in game play. I still play this game to this day and would recommend this to any FPS gamer who wants a good, but not hard, challenge.
